Father of teen from India praises Emirates for excellent customer service

The father of a 15-year-old girl from India is all praises for Emirates Airlines for promptly responding after his daughter missed her connecting flight in Dubai.

The teen was on her first solo international journey from Casablanca to Chennai when, amid flight disruptions due to unusual rains, she missed her flight at 2 a.m. while on her way back home. Emirates informed her about the situation, and escorted her to a transit hotel room where she got some rest and recovered before the next flight.

Meanwhile, the airlines wasted no time in calling up the father, Manish Kalghatgi, to keep him informed about the unexpected turn of events. An overwhelmed Kalghatgi took to social media to thank Emirates. He elaborated how the call from Emirates Airlines at 4 a.m. caused no panic, but instead the reassuring voice of the customer service executive calmed him.
