The second edition of the Dubai FinTech Summit (DFS), organized by the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), will be held for two days at Madinat Jumeirah, on May 6 and 7.

Across five dynamic stages, including three plenary arenas and two innovation platforms, DFS would bring together 8,000 decision-makers, and more than 300 thought leaders and exhibitors to analyse current topics in the world of finance.

A key highlight of DFS would be the finale when winners of the FinTech World Cup would be announced. The champions would secure an investment of up to US$ 1 million. The competition, designed to encourage cross-border collaboration, is crucial to a global transformation of the FinTech sector.

The two-day summit is aimed to position Dubai as one among the top four international hubs of finance by 2033. DFS also presents a unique opportunity to explore emerging FinTech trends, which would in turn facilitate financial progress in the MEASA (Middle East, Africa, and Southern Asia) region. In this scenario, the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region’s booming FinTech start-up and venture capital landscape also cannot be missed.

DFS would therefore be an ideal platform for start-ups, investors and industry leaders to capitalise on the growing FinTech market. It is expected that over 20 governors of financial institutions would attend the summit this year. – editor@nrifocus.com
