Founder and Chairman of Burjeel Holdings Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil has contributed AED 1 million to the Mothers’ Endowment campaign, aimed to honor mothers and meet the education needs of millions around the world. The campaign’s objective also includes promoting values of honouring parents, and imparting kindness and compassion.
Launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, the campaign accepts monetary contributions from individuals who believe their charity would make a difference to the lives of the underprivileged.
Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil said that the Mothers’ Endowment campaign extended the UAE’s message of benevolence and generosity to impact countries around the world. He felt that contributing to the campaign to alleviate suffering and preserve human dignity was a reflection of commitment to social responsibility. –editor@nrifocus.com
