3AI Holding Limited, an Abu Dhabi-based artificial intelligence venture company, and SML India have announced the launch of ‘Hanooman’ – a multilingual GenAI platform – supposed to be “India’s largest and most affordable”.

Available in 98 global languages, which includes 12 Indian languages, the platform aims to reach 200 million users in a year. It will offer multimodal and multilingual capabilities such as text, voice, code and image to users, under four sections – education, healthcare, financial services, and governance.

Vishnu Vardhan, Co-Founder & CEO, SML India, says that Hanooman’s capabilities to support Indian languages will bring Gen AI accessible to everyone as 80% of Indians do not use English.

The platform is free for use via web and Android applications. An iOS version is in the making. However, there are plans to introduce a premium subscription model later.

Arjun Prasad, Managing Director, 3AI Holding, believes that by empowering individuals with GenAI, unprecedented opportunities for innovation can be unlocked.

The Indian languages that Hanooman is currently available in are Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Kannada, Odia, Punjabi, Assamese, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Sindhi. –editor@nrifocus.com
