In the light of the Israel-Iran war, Andhra Pradesh NRI Empowerment and Relations Minister Kondapalli Srinivas has said that all necessary precautionary and support measures were being taken in coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs.

The Andhra Pradesh government has reached out to 100 NRIs from the state who are stuck in Iran, he said. The State authorities are also continuously monitoring the ‘evolving situation’. The government stands committed to the safety and welfare of every Andhra Pradesh NRI, said Srinivas.

A 24×7 control room has been set up to actively assess developments and take all necessary precautions, he added.

He has appealed to NRIs to stay updated through official Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society (APNRTS) channels. – editor@nrifocus.com
