An exclusive NRI redressal wing of the Punjab State police will look into complaints received from overseas Indians on a WhatsApp number dedicated for this purpose.

The Punjab government has launched a WhatsApp number (9056009884) through which NRIs can report their grievances that will in turn be forwarded to the respective departments in charge of them. The same will be presented to the Additional Director General of Police, who has been assigned the task of personally addressing the issues.
