IndiGo, which is currently operating 63 weekly flights to Abu Dhabi from nine major locations in India, has announced direct flights from Chandigarh beginning May 15. The daily flights between the capital of the United Arab Emirates and the capital city of both Haryana and Punjab are a significant addition to IndiGo’s wide network.

This strategic expansion of one of India’s largest passenger airlines is aimed to enhance global connectivity, besides fortifying travel and tourism between the two countries.

Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales, IndiGo, has said that the new route would offer customers increased options to travel between the UAE and north India. – editor@nrifocus.com
