A FlyDubai flight 1073, which departed Dubai, made an emergency landing at Tabuk, Saudi Arabia.

After climbing to a cruising altitude of 34,000 feet, the Tel Aviv bound flight began a steep descent, followed by a sharp ascent, and another sharp descent.

The aircraft’s altitude began oscillating between ‘general emergency’ and ‘unlawful interference’, indicating significant trouble.

While flying along the Saudi-Jordanian border, the turbulence became uncontrollable.

Latest reports quoting Israeli sources say the co-pilot of the FlyDubai flight had tried to hijack the plane after stabbing the captain. Those who were on the flight subdued the attacker. The aircraft was carrying over 100 Israeli passengers.

Both the pilot and co-pilot were injured in the incident on the flight which made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia. – editor@nrifocus.com
