Iran is reportedly seeking to coordinate a simultaneous multi-front attack on Israel involving Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis and pro-Iranian militias in Iraq, the Jerusalem Post reported on Saturday, citing Israeli assessments.

The reported plan is intended to address the lack of coordination seen during the October 7 attack, when Hamas launched its assault without Iran and Hezbollah opening other fronts at the same time, according to the report.

The Jerusalem Post said Arab media reports indicated Tehran was seeking to have several fronts operate against Israel simultaneously, making a multi-front campaign part of the strategy from the outset.

The Jerusalem Post also cited reports alleging that senior Quds Force officials held talks with commanders in Hezbollah, the Houthis and Iraqi militias about expanding the confrontation. – editor@nrifocus.com
