Global Village, Dubai’s multicultural family destination for entertainment, dining, and shopping, is setting the stage for Diwali celebrations from November 6-10.

The Diwali Mela, in collaboration with India Pavilion, will be a cultural showcase of traditional décor, thoughtful gifts, and regional snacks, ushering in the festive spirit.

Diwali-themed activities including face painting, diya colouring, and rangoli making, have been planned for children.

In a first, Global Village is organising ‘Baithak’, a South Asian musical gathering in a typical floor-seating arrangement setting. Guests are invited to sing along with their favourite performing artists. The celebrations also include a lively line-up of interactive games and a chance to win exciting prizes.

On November 8, at 8 p.m, 600 drones would illuminate the night sky. The spectacular display would feature unique formations inspired by the festival of lights above the Stunt Arena and Syria Pavilion, creating a splash of light, colour and creativity.

Participants and visitors can savour the rich flavours of India through authentic cuisine served at exclusive restaurants in the venue.
