The Hurun Rich List 2025 is out and this time again it doesn’t fail to surprise. Of 101 NRI billionaires globally, Jayshree Ullal debuts as the eighth richest in the world with a net worth of Rs. 50,170 crore. Based in San Francisco, 64-year-old Ullal is the president and CEO of Arista Networks, a cloud networking company.

Gopichand Hinduja, chairman of the Hinduja Group, tops the list with a net worth of Rs 1.85 lakh crore. L.N. Mittal, Executive chairman of ArcelorMittal, and his family, come second with a net worth valued at Rs 1.75 lakh crore. Both these NRI billionaires are based in London.

According to the Hurun Rich List 2025, of the 101 NRI billionaires who have made their home in different parts of the world, 48 are based in the US, and 22 of them in the UAE.

Other countries such as Canada, China, Singapore, and Cyprus have the remaining five billionaires.

Jay Chaudhry, the founder of Zscaler in San Jose, ranks third with a net worth of Rs 1.46 lakh crore.

London-based Anil Agarwal of Vedanta Resources, and Monaco-based businessman Shapoor Pallonji Mistry, share the fourth place.

Yusuff Ali of Lulu Group in Abu Dhabi, ranks ninth with a wealth of Rs. 46,300 crore, and Rakesh Gangwal and his family from InterGlobe Aviation in Florida take the 10th place with a net worth of Rs. 42,790 crore. – editor@nrifocus.com
