Sulfeeker Pakkarkante Purakkal Basheer Pakkarkante, 39, living in Abu Dhabi for a decade now, was thrilled when he got the winning call from Big Ticket. He had been trying his luck the past three years, but got to win only now. This fisherman from Kerala hopes to continue purchasing Big Ticket, and hopes to share the prize money with 12 friends close to him.
Selva Johnson, 45, who has been living in Abu Dhabi the past 24 years, says he’d play Big Ticket among 10 friends. Every month, for eight years now, Johnson has been purchasing tickets. He hopes to save for the future.
Dubai resident Eldho Thombrayil, 29, has been buying tickets the past two years. He’d been playing Big Ticket among 17 friends. Extremely happy over the win, Thombrayil hopes to share the prize with his friends. – editor@nrifocus.com
