Maninder Singh has not just switched careers, but countries too. Once employed in the IT sector in the US, he is now the owner of a small street food stall in Mohali, Punjab.

After spending over three years in New York, working in call centres, retail and technology sectors, Singh’s decision to return to India to run a food platform named ‘Foodler’ wasn’t the result of any dream. “My wife’s a brilliant cook,” he says. “So I thought of building something around her skills.”

His venture is a crowd-puller. It’s been trending online too, for the message it conveys.

Singh feels content with what he’s doing now. From getting a pay package in dollars to generating his own income now, Singh’s is certainly a success story. – editor@nrifocus.com
