Burjeel Holdings, a prominent name in the private healthcare services platform, has announced the launch of two specialized day surgery centers in Riyadh by 2025, as part of their regional expansion in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The centers are aimed to cater to the growing demand for sophisticated medical services.

Last year, Abu Dhabi-based Burjeel Holdings was awarded a contract to operate the Al Dhannah Hospital, a 122-bed multi-speciality facility, in Abu Dhabi’s Al Dhafra region. Started in 2007, the integrated healthcare service provider manages 22 hospitals, and more than 125 medical centers and support services across the Middle East, Indian and Europe, according to the World Economic Forum.

The surgery centres, each costing $10-$15 million in working capital investment, are expected to generate an annual revenue of about $40-$53 million when they become operational next year.
