Schools in the UAE have announced on their websites that student details for enrolment must be submitted on their respective official portals as the enrolment process has been made completely online for the upcoming academic year.

Private schools have confirmed the decision, saying that fully digital registration systems have been enabled online for submission of appications, seat reservations, and assessments.

Once these formalities are fulfilled, the date of online placement tests or interviews would be intimated to the candidates by the school administrators.

If selected, the seat reservation fee must be paid electronically. The amount would be deducted later from the tuition fees.

Several private schools have started offering virtual school tours for applicants to explore what they would be paying up for. While kindergarten students have to attend remote interviews for selection, older students from Grade 1 to Grade 12 are required to clear online assessments for acceptance of their enrolment.

The electronic registration form needs to be filled by the applicant, authorising the school they are applying for to request academic records, references and evaluation reports from previous schools to verify information submitted online. – Image credit: freepik – editor@nrifocus.com
