Loka Keralam Online, a comprehensive digital platform designed to connect Malayalis worldwide, has now introduced government services for expatriates.
The advanced tech-based initiative of the Government of Kerala will include services related to passport, verification, attestation, and the rest for Non-resident Keralites (NRKs).
NORKA, short for Non-Resident Keralite’s Affairs, was formed in 1996 to strengthen the bond between NRKs and the State government. The first of its kind in the country, NORKA established NORKA Roots that acts as a counsel for NRKs.
NORKA Roots Resident Vice-Chairman P. Sreeramakrishnan announced the decision to digitise attestation services, during a meeting with VFS Global representatives at NORKA Center in Thiruvananthapuram. Chief Executive Officer Ajith Kollasery, who was also present at the discussion, asserted their aim of further establishing themselves globally.
