Dubai-based multinational logistics company DP World has a new group CEO following the resignation of Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem who quit amid Jeffrey Epstein files links.

Indian-origin executive Yuvraj Narayan has been appointed group CEO of DP World, the company he joined way back in 2004.

Since then, Narayan, who is a qualified chartered accountant, has spent over two decades in DP World, beginning with his first appointment in 2005 as Group Chief Financial Officer.

Before taking over as CEO, he was Group Deputy CEO and CFO, overseeing financial management, capital allocation, corporate finance and key operational functions across DP World’s international network. In the present role, Narayan will oversee financial strategy, corporate finance, and business operations.

Essa Kazim has taken over as chairman of the board. The decisions followed a decree by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

As a long-term resident of the UAE with strategic financial expertise, Narayan’s guidance is expected to turn DP World’s focus on global trade integration. – editor@nrifocus.com
