In what is believed to be a targeted attack, four men of Indian origin have been arrested for the crime, near Wolverhampton in England.

A video grab shows six men brandishing bladed weapons, dressed in black hoodies and completely masked, charging at a white car and pulling out three men from the car. They attack those men violently.

The police rushed to the spot after receiving a call early morning when the attack took place in Arbour Drive, Bilston. Three men from the group of six tried to escape. Two police dogs caught them. All six, who carried out the assault, were arrested. Two of them are out on bail while four are still in custody.

Hardeep Singh, 28, of Hounslow; Harpeet Singh, 25, of Leicester; Mukesh Kumar, 30, of Wolverhampton; and Lakwinder Singh, 26, of Smethwick would appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court, even as further investigations are on.

“A number of teams came together to make quick arrests. Our investigation is moving quickly as we establish exactly what happened,” said detective inspector Adam Keen of Wolverhampton police. “I would like to reassure the public that we do believe this to be a targeted attack.”

Police have seized a gun also from the assailants. The three injured men are undergoing treatment at a hospital and are reported to be recovering. – editor@nrifocus.com
