Low-cost carrier Air India Express has launched a promotion, offering one-way international flights from the UAE to India at Dh180.

This fare, falling under the airline’s ‘Xpress Lite’ category, offers a ticket with no check-in baggage. Fares upwards of Dh180, which fall under ‘Xpress Value’, includes check-in baggage for international routes.

The airline’s domestic routes within India have attractive Xpress Lite fares starting at Dh54, and Xpress Value fares from Dh56.

Air India Express has also announced special offers for students, senior citizens, and those from the armed forces.

With an array of add-ons such as Zero Convenience Fees for bookings made through mobile app, Air India Express customers can purchase discounted check-in baggage, with 15kg for domestic flights costing around Dh42 and 20kg for international flights for about Dh54.

For loyalty members, there are a host of exclusive deals, including discounts on business-class equivalent ‘Xpress Biz’ fares and ‘Gourmair’ hot meals.
