The chairman and Managing Director of Lulu Group International, M.A. Yusuff Ali, addressed Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, as “a visionary leader blessed with great wisdom and knowledge” after receiving a signed copy of the Dubai Ruler’s book.

The book, titled ‘Lessons from Life: Part I’, was originally published in Arabic as ‘Almatani Alhayah’ (Life Taught Me). Released in English now, it is available in bookshops such as Borders, Virgin, Magrudy’s, Kinokuniya; branches of Carrefour, Lulu, Union Co-op; and online outlets including askexplorer.com, amazon.ae and noon.com.

Celebrating almost six decades of the Dubai Ruler’s engagement with public service, Sheikh Mohammed hopes to pass on the generational wisdom gained to future leaders. The book, which is a testament of his life, has been passed on to school heads, and members of the newly formed Dubai Student Council.

The signed copy given to Ali had a personal note from Sheikh Mohammed. It read: ‘Wisdom is the only inheritance which grows richer the more we share it. Hope you enjoy the read.’

Ali responded saying, “I am sure the present and future generation can learn a lot from his life.”

Sheikh Mohammed’s children – Dubai’s Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed Al Maktoum – were among the first to get a signed copy of the book. – editor@nrifocus.com
